Job Description

Our client, an exciting, high growth consumer facing organisation with a fantastic reputation for providing a fun and supportive working environment, is looking to source a talented Transactional Finance Manager to lead a team of AP & Cash Management Clerks.

The purpose of this role is to manage to day to day operations, analyse current processes and implement new ways of working, as well as mentor and nurture the team. You'll also need to be happy rolling up your sleeves and leading by example, as this will be a hands-on role, as well as having good exposure to senior management.

Main duties include:
* Controlling and monitoring end to end ap process including reconciliation of statements, payment runs and tight month end processes
* Providing leadership and guidance for the team, with regular 1-1's
* Managing the relationship with all key stakeholders
* Assessing current PO system and make improvements to achieve better performance
* Establishing and maintaining effective controls and over payment runs to suppliers
* Managing supplier statement reconciliations and balance confirmations on a timely basis
* Implementing changes in processes and policies
* Setting up and maintaining appropriate KPIs to manage and report operational performance
* Reviewing and updating cashflow actuals and forecasts reports
* Performing intercompany bank transfers and managing the reconciliation of bank accounts

Key skills & experience required:
* Proven track record managing a transactional team in a high volume environment
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong Excel
* Passionate, enthusiastic character that demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to problem solving
* Efficient and well organised with the ability to prioritise a busy team
* Confident and credible character, capable of enacting change across the organisation
