Transactional Finance Manager - Watford
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus Bonus plus Benefits

Our client, a rapidly growing and market leading organisation in its specialist field, is looking to source a credible, dynamic and experienced Transactional Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role due to the company's rapid growth.

Key duties include
- Provide leadership, guidance and support for the team
- Manage the team to include objective setting and appraisals
- Manager and support the Credit Control team as required including understanding of credit check process
- Understand all functions of the sales ledger
- Manager and support the Purchase Ledger Clerk as required
- Understand all functions of the purchase ledger
- Review and update cashflow actual and forecast report
- Support the implementation of banking controls
- Manage cash management team, ensuring postings are accurate and efficient
- Perform intercompany bank transfers to ensure accounts remain within overdraft limits
- Manage the reconciliation of bank accounts
- Ensure team consistently deliver month end procedures including:
o Review all control accounts and ensure all postings and recharges have been processed
o Review all intercompany accounts and ensure they agree
o Prepare and review specific balance sheet reconciliations
o Control the period roll over in accounting system
o Assist in the preparation of year end schedules for audit
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and Payments
- Develop a good understanding of the group structure and relationship between companies
- Set up KPI's for the whole team and continuous improvement of controls
- Contribute to the development of the team strategy
- Assist in providing information to manage and report on strategy

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate a rapidly growing team. You will have a full understanding of data being processed and the ability to identify and question anomalies. You will have the ability to prioritise effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment while supervision the whole team. You will have strong attention to detail and excellent people management skills.
