Senior Finance Transformation Manager
£600-£800 per day

An outstanding interim opportunity for a qualified Senior Finance Transformation Manager for 9-12 months. The Finance Development Lead role will provide a full lifecycle support to CFO and his leadership team for all aspects of functional development agenda including people, processes and systems in this leading listed organisation.

The role will champion the Finance development programme and lead on communication to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of Finance roadmap to support the businesses vision.

Strong engagement with Senior Leaders, key Functional Leaders, IT & HR to ensure we deploy the right solution and processes. The role will involve working independently when required.

You will build and develop the Finance Roadmap to support the vision with key stakeholders. Identifying priorities, recommendations, financial analysis with benefit realisation.

Schedule, attend and lead finance roadmap meetings to ensure that key decisions are shared, risks, issues, dependencies and proactive updates provided to all stakeholders.
Active participant in design roadmap workshops and subsequent project team meetings.
Build strong engagement from the outset with Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, IT and HR.
Build and own the change and communication aspect with the objective of successful implementation, driving our vision with strong engagement, adoption and compliance with all employees.
Willing to accept and challenge our current processes with the aim of adopting industry standard 'best practise' processes. Ensuring that buy-in is sought from other key stakeholders.
Consistent adherence to deadlines and budgets

The successful candidate will have:
-CIMA / ACA Qualification
-Strong business partnering skills
-Experience of delivering process improvements.
-Ideally experience of designing and building Finance systems.
-Ability to influence key stakeholders and challenge where appropriate
-Experience of Finance systems, processes and tools and proficient with MS Office packages.
-Strong stakeholder management, both internal and external to develop positive working relationships and ability to lead and work within a high performing team.
-Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate the team and others, maintaining a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of the organisation.
-Able to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and ever changing environment leveraging strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
-Ability to maintain appropriate records and documentation.
-Proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and personal and organisation skills.
-Networking with external finance networks to build relationship, broader understanding of best practice.
