Job Description

Our client, a highly regarded international brand with a reputation for quality and innovation, is looking to source a credible and charismatic Senior Finance Manager to join its team. The role will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with a broad base of stakeholders based both in the UK and Europe.

You will be part of a team which ensures correct accounting for the cost base of the Group, including cost of sales, stock, maintenance, overheads and depreciation. It will be a fantastic first step into the business, working cross functionally in a very visible team, which will stand you in good stead for a future internal move.

Main duties include:
* Developing a deep knowledge of cost base driven by things such as contractual arrangements, operational maintenance and stock areas, impact of accounting standards etc.
* Leading relations with the business from an actual accounting perspective, encouraging your team to go out and similarly engage with stakeholders to build relationships
* Working with business partners to understand numbers, forecast accurately and ensuring budgets are kept at the forefront
* Working actively with the business to ensure PO and receipting are progressively improved
* Leading the finalisation of cost for the month and year to date with supporting analysis of the results versus budget and last year
* Leading and developing direct reports

Key skills and experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Demonstrates ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively in order to meet deadlines;
* Produces workable solutions to a range of problems
* Experience of organising and managing large data sources to create useable information whilst maintaining data integrity
* Breaks information into component parts, patterns and relationships, probes for further information or greater understanding of a problem
* Confident and credible demeanour, capable of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and levels
* Provides others with clear direction and delegates effectively
