Interim Senior Finance Business Partner - Procurement / Supply Chain
Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire
£350 - £375 a day

Up to 6 months interim assignment working for a leading FTSE 100 retail and hospitality business.

The role will be supporting a brand new function following a restructure creating a dedicated Finance Partnering team supporting Supply Chain and Procurement.
We are seeking and experienced Finance Business Partner with a collaborative disposition and previous experience of supporting a fast-paced commercial team to work closely with the Supply Chain team providing reporting and analysis and building relationships with Procurement functions across all brands.
The role will be project based creating efficiency globally, assisting with De-merge activity and delivering against a cost efficiency programme. Supporting the activity around moving products across the UK & Europe cost-effectively.
Other projects will include the review and streamlining contracts and reviewing to accommodate growth across an expanding retail sites.
The Procurement / Contracts division is a highly significant business area for this FTSE 100 hospitality business. This role will work with senior stakeholders supporting key negotiations. As such the contractor needs to be comfortable interacting at senior stakeholders and negotiating/obtaining info externally.

Key duties:-
*Undertaking internal and market analysis
*Financial modelling to deliver meaningful insight
*Owning the budgeting process for procurement development projects
*Managing costs and savings in assigned areas
*Supporting multiple and diverse functions in each of our branded businesses to ensure one version of the truth in reporting outcomes.
*Ensure Procurement is both future facing, and an externally referenced team.
*Constantly reviewing synergy opportunities across the Group.

Requirements:-
*Fully qualified accountant with PQE
*Commercial experience in other complex businesses (another PLC would be ideal)
*Intelligent and proactive approach
*Confident to actively business partner with a consultative approach
*Will be expected to make incisive judgements on uncertain data and provide solid rational to stakeholders on reasoning
*Rigorous and hands-on analyst; structured, methodical and broad-minded approach to business analysis with excellent insight into the drivers of profit
*Sound strategic grasp of planning/strategic roles, keen to add value and leave their mark rather than babysit a role
