Job Description

Our client, an instantly recognisable FTSE 250 organisation are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a six month contract. Candidates must be immediately available to interview and start.

The successful candidate will be required to ensure that all invoices are processed within agreed deadlines and payment terms and ensuring that all supplier statements are reconciled on a monthly basis.

Key responsibilities;

- Coding / checking invoices / dealing with discrepancies / Matching invoices with PO's and delivery notes
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Processing supplier payments via BACS
- Reconciliation and analysis of supplier statements and account
- All queries are accurately logged and comments are regularly updated

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years experience of working within an accounts payable department and be proficient on Microsoft Excel. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving UK Business with a dynamic, fast-paced finance team.
