Payroll Manager - Broxbourne - £45-50k + Benefits

Our client, a marketing leading group in their sector, a looking to employ a new Payroll Manager. This exciting growth in the company, which employs over 2,000 employees, is a great opportunity for career progression for an ambitious Payroll Manager with considerable relevant experience. In addition to Payroll experience you must be personable as man management is of paramount importance as well as have hands on experience in outsourcing abroad.


* To take accountability for ensuring that all prescriptive checks and audits are carried out in a timely manner and that any issues are identified and resolved in order to ensure the accurate and compliant completion of payroll.
* To implement and review reconciliation processes and record maintenance at appropriate intervals and take suitable remedial action.
* To investigate Payroll systems and input any requisite additional payments or adjustments as requested and in a timely manner.
* To accurately process all starters, leavers and payroll adjustments, including court orders, tax credits, SMP, SSP, pension contributions, expenses and other sundry items.
* To communicate, document and effectively implement best fit and best practice payroll policies, controls, procedures and processes.
* To support and direct all relevant stakeholders in order that they understand and take ownership of payroll input and processes across the business.
* To ensure that all compliance returns are completed and issued in a timely fashion.
* To ensure a considered approach with third party payroll providers such that good working relationships are maintained and system standards are enhanced.

To be successful in this role you must have considerable Payroll experience with good technical knowledge and a managerial background. Moreover, you must have strong IT skills including advanced Excel skills and experience with Payroll systems. Lastly you must have hands on Outsourcing experience, with a preference for outsourcing to India.
