Payroll Clerk - 6-month Contract (Fixed Term)
£20,000 - £23,000, Watford

Our client, a large, reputable company with an instantly recognisable brand name, is currently looking to source a hard-working and enthusiastic Payroll Clerk to join their friendly team on a 6-month Contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good understanding of end-to-end payroll processes to join a well established business.

Key responsibilities include:
*Processing payroll (end-to-end)
*Assisting with process implementations
*Calculation of SMP and SSP
*Dealing with all employee payroll queries
*Running monthly payroll reports
*Dealing with copy payslip requests on a monthly basis
*Ad hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years' relevant experience and be able to work with minimal supervision. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of bookkeeping and processing payroll. The position will play a pivotal role within this friendly, but highly competitive organisation. This is a 6-month contract and so all applicants must be immediately available to interview and start.
