Our client, a dynamic and innovative business, is seeking a Procure-to-Pay Payments Supervisor to join their busy finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and supportive company. Working closely with business partners and the ERP solutions team, you will be integral to key business improvements in this organisation.
- Supervise the daily activities of the Payment Processing team
- Working with various teams across finance to drive process efficiencies and increase automation
- Developing documents for P2P standard process including process maps, work instructions for individual countries, SOX documentation
- Assisting with resolution on complicated billing systems and critical vendors.
- Assisting in financial statement close cycle
- Carrying out monthly AP reconciliations for vendors and general ledger statements
- Tabulate day to day processing to generate reports for management.
- Preparing KPI and metric reporting for all businesses serviced by P2P,
- Preparing Balance sheet/DPO reporting, analysing trends and recommending action to improve cash flow.
- Driving progression within the team- providing strong leadership.
The successful candidate will be a confident finance professional with substantial experience in a procurement and payable process. Supervisory experience is essential with experience in an international AP department being advantageous. You will possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to be innovative in your problem solving and your creation of process improvements. With excellent communication skills you will have examples of your ability to form effective working relationship across both the finance function and throughout an organisation.
