We are recruiting for and on behalf of our client, a nationally recognised group expanding in their chosen sector. This is an exciting opportunity to pursue an all-encompassing management accounts role for a company in a phase of growth.
Main responsibilities include:
*Monthly and weekly reporting
*Producing management accounts packs
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Business partnering with departmental stakeholders and FP&A
*Preparing for year end
*Reviewing monthly P&L
*Ad hoc requirements
Ideal candidates would have demonstrated the aforementioned management accounts experience in previous roles. This role will evolve over time and become more autonomous.
The client is looking for a candidate no more than 5-6 years out of a reputable UK based university, and one that's shown progression in their previous roles. This candidate would likely be a newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA accountant who is able to think on their feet and is happy to be hands on and involve themselves with day to day activities. Solid Excel and analytical skills are a must as well as the ability to communicate with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Ultimately it's an opportunity to join an organisation and familiarise yourself with all the financial workings of the company and grow as the position becomes more elaborate and senior.
