Management Accountant, Hampstead, Greater London
6 Months Contract +
£34k - £38k pro rata

Our client, a fast moving leisure based entity, breaking new boundaries in their chosen sector, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to engage in key accounting practices for a 6 month assignment. The position is newly created and therefore the responsibilities listed below are fluid and may well change over time, developing in tandem with the growth of the business. In addition, this growth may well lead to a contract extension or indeed a permanent opportunity further down the line. Any initial application though must take into account that this requires an immediate start or at most a couple of day's notice.
Main duties include:
*Assisting Finance Controller in development and analysis of monthly management accounts
*Responsible for managing P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
*Managing journals and ledgers including payroll and expenses
*Analysing budgets and forecasting
*Overseeing processing of purchase and sales ledger
*Assisting with sales analysis and working with the senior team to achieve strategy goals
*Collaborating with all areas of business
To be considered for this role you must be a part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with detailed knowledge and experience in management accounts. Experience with complex accountancy packages and data manipulation software is required as well as a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Having a thorough and analytical approach will a real eye for detail, will be essential for this role.
