Job Description

Our client, a global market leader with a loyal and ever-expanding customer base, is looking to source a bright and credible M&A Analyst to join its talented Commercial Team. This is a unique and pivotal that will support the business with plans to achieve explosive growth over the next 5 years, giving you excellent exposure to the Senior Leadership Team and on innovative projects.

This position will report to the Head of M&A, providing strategic and financial planning support. It will be primarily responsible for supporting the growth agenda by transforming the existing business and unlocking further expansion.

Main duties include:
* Supporting the identification and onboarding of M&A targets across the UK & Europe
* Identifying target markets
* Leading due diligence of potential acquisitions, by conducting robust analysis on financials, synergies and growth potential
* Leading financial modelling and valuation of potential acquisition targets
* Updating internal teams on key M&A trends/news from the industry
* Helping to define inorganic growth strategy in each market
* Partnering with development team to create compelling strategic market growth plans

Key skills & experience required:
* Best in class academics
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial analysis or strategy, demonstrating strong analytical skills. Any M&A/consulting experience would be highly advantageous
* Exceptional communication, capable of presenting articulately and passionately
* Demonstrates a 'growth mindset', continuously looking at ways to take calculated risks and challenge the status quo
* Desire to develop career into senior leadership role
* Advanced Excel
