Our client, a global giant have an immediate requirement for an Internal Auditor to join the team at their offices in London. The client are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years industry audit experience in addition to an ACA background. The role will offer much autonomy, candidates would need to have previous relevant experience in a similar role so that they can create an impact immediately.
Main responsibilities include:
*Plan and carry out Internal Audit of EMEA and Global Regions
*Oversee SOX Compliance
*International travel required to support global internal audit initiatives
*Supporting internal audit and compliance manager
*Assist external auditors
*Providing support for key business partners when required
Ideal candidates should have internal controls understanding, knowledge of SOX and IFRS, and a recognised accountancy qualification. Advanced Excel skills would also be a prerequisite.
The ability to communicate in another language would also be advantageous when working with regional offices. Candidates who are analytically driven with the ability to communicate accurately to finance and non-finance members will be well placed as there is much interaction with a variety of stakeholders.
