Job Description

An excellent opportunity for an Internal Auditor Manager to join a leading FTSE 250 with an outstanding roster of household name brands as Manager.

Internal Audit is highly regarded by senior management and this is a high profile role with wide exposure to senior management across diverse and different cultures. It provides a unique opportunity to learn the company's varied activities and has great opportunities for future career progression within audit, risk management and finance.

Internal Audit supports the company's activities through concentrating on enhancing the effectiveness of the internal audit and risk management environment through the audit process, value-added recommendations and the sharing of best practice.

You will execute audits of high quality standards ensuring scope is risk based and provide objective assurance over the key risks faced by the Business. You will take ownership and manage end to end audit delivery, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the business. The role is highly commercially focused, supporting the company's activities and concentrating on enhancing the effectiveness of the internal audit and risk management environment through consultation, value-added recommendations and the sharing of best practice. Internal Audit is not a "tick-box" function, you will be required to perform consulting roles on strategic projects and complete project reviews.

The successful candidate will be an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant/Auditor ideally with experienced gained working for a Big 4 or Top 10 firm. Candidates with Internal Audit experience working for a medium / large company are highly desirable. You must have the ability to influence and challenge middle management and other stakeholders across different and diverse working cultures. The ability to adapt to change and work own initiative as well as managing team with enthusiasm. You will be ambitious with drive, tenacity and ability to learn and able to thrive in a changing environment. Desire to develop a career in a competitive environment to progress within a short timescale.
