Job Description

Interim Payroll Specialist - Stevenage
£28,000 - £37,000 per annum, Ongoing temp role

Our client is a well-established business looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team on an initial temp basis for a few months with great possibility for the role to go perm for the right candidate.

Key duties
- Liaising with HR regarding all payroll related queries
- Dealing with payroll related queries from employees
- Chasing up data as and when required
- Checking all payroll data processed
- Processing sickness to ensure SSP1 forms are sent out as and when required
- Liaising with HR regarding all payroll related queries
- Maternity/paternity payments & calculations
- Continuous service processing
- Entering all permanent and temporary data
- Entering new starters and leavers
- Cost centre changes

The successful candidate will be an immediately available payroll specialist with previous experience doing a similar role for a least 3 years.
You will be goal oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to use your own initiative and managing multiple tasks.
