Job Description
This is a key position that presents the opportunity to work in dynamic and progressive environment, giving you access to exciting future roles across the business. This initial position will work in the Group Finance Team, supporting the period end close process with ownership and management of data mapping, managing intercompany relationships and balances. You'll also support on ad hoc projects, process improvements and other finance related projects driven by the growth of the business.
Main duties include:
* Maintaining the mapping of transactions between reports and databases
* Managing the Group's chart of account and control over monthly changes
* Responsibility for the Group's wide intercompany relationships, reconciliations and eliminations
* Producing monthly intercompany MI information for Senior Management
* UK intercompany recharging
* Owning large recharge models and implementing process improvements
* Reviewing and correcting postings across all Group entities to ensure costs are recorded correctly
* Performing analytical reviews
Key skills & experience required:
* Qualified (ACA/ACCA) with PQE
* Strong academics
* Proven intercompany experience, consolidations or group accounting in a large, blue-chip environment (PLC ideally)
* Strong Excel and generally systems savvy
* Confident, credible communications - capable of building strong professional relationships
* Proactive, positive approach to problem solving
