Job Description

Main duties include:
* Production and delivery of Group financial statements at both half and full year, ensuring Board of Director meet legal requirements
* Ownership and development of the Group accounting policies manual, including leading on projects to determine the impact of new and amended accounting standards
* Providing best in class technical advice, utilising your existing expertise to support the Group and brand finance teams
* Act as key contact for Group external audit team, ensuring delivering of relevant evidence to support Group financial statements
* Ownership for preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts to ensure complete compliance
* Involvement in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives providing a wide variety of challenges and experience
Skill and experience required:
* Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with 2 + years PQE
* Experience gleaned from Big 4 or a large PLC environment
* Acute intelligence, natural numeracy and business acumen
* Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards to provide expert technical accounting advice to a range of stakeholders and those with significantly less technical knowledge
* A proven track record detailing and understanding IFRS and UKGAAP
* Best in class analytical skills coupled with a personable, affable character
* Strong relationships builder and ability to engage with and influence stakeholders
