FP&A Analyst
St Albans, Hertfordshire
£45,000 - £50,000 + car + benefits

Our client, a market leading well established organisation based in St Albans, is currently seeking an experienced finance professional with excellent, detailed FP&A skills to join its team in order to support the wider finance function. The role will work closely with senior members of staff and support their decision-making processes as required. The role would suit a newly qualified accountant with experience in a similar role, looking for a new position with excellent exposure internally.

The role
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Work in detail on financial and management accounts in order to support a particular, defined area of the organisation
* Budget setting and monitoring
* Preparation of final accounts
* Provide guidance and advice to senior level colleagues, to allow them to make informed financial decisions
* Involvement in various plans, strategies, and policies which involve financial input
* Build strong partnerships both internally and externally
* Offer support to the wider accountancy team, at both junior and senior levels
* Contribute towards specific projects as necessary
* Assist with the implementation and introduction of new systems as required

The ideal candidate
* Newly qualified accountant
* Strong academic record (2:1 degree or higher)
* Exposure and experience in similar role
* Strong familiarity with financial and management accounting
* Excellent financial analysis skills
* Confident communicator, with ability to comfortably build relationships
* Enthusiastic, committed personality
