Finance Manager
Hertford, Hertfordshire
Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Healthcare + Generous Pension

Our client a rapid growing international business is currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to manage a small team responsible for a broad range of duties including, financial management and control, reporting, analysis and forecasting.

Job Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international business in a senior finance role. The role will be primarily focussed on financial management and control of a rapidly growing division and consolidation of the divisional accounts on a monthly basis. This will also include providing management information to budget holders within the business. The successful candidate will run a small finance accounts responsible for consolidating input from across the Division for reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Production of all consolidated divisional reporting, covering P&L, balance sheet and working capital.
To provide confidence throughout the organisation in its financial accounting, reporting and controls in a fast growing business.
To motivate and develop EMEA/ finance accounts team members with a clear structure and management support.
To provide strong communication and insight back to the Divisional Head of Finance for reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and ultimately to the Board.
To provide "best in Group" reporting of month end results, consistently hitting reporting deadlines and a "right first time" approach.
To provide business partnering support for the Operations team on site.
Input into the monthly Operations team leader meetings.
Ongoing project work around improving efficiency and effectiveness of Finance accounting team.
Continued development of management reporting system and to become a super user of the ERP accounting system.

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

Accounting qualification - ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA with previous experience within a Finance Manager / Controller capacity
Technically strong accounting skills
Experience of working with ERP systems
Advanced MS Excel

We are seeking someone who is able to work in a dynamic and growing environment who can adjust to changing demands and develop financial reporting in-line with business growth and needs.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a drive to achieve "right first time", the ability to identify and action improvements and the ability to provide clear support and guidance where required.
