Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of the overhead cost base including business partnering with key stakeholders. - Preparation and challenge of forecasts.
- Preparation and reporting of accurate, well understood Overhead management accounts pack on a timely basis for review
- Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts linked to overhead such as accruals, prepayments on a timely basis with all variances and errors investigated and corrected
- Owning and controlling the flow of group costs, ensuring all related balance sheets are reconciled on a timely basis
- Ensuring all analysis required is communicated to contracts in accordance with month ed timetables
- Supporting the wider business facing finance team through rapid, accurate investigation and resolution of issues flowing back from contracts
- Play a part in the upgrade and evolution finance systems and processes
- Management, training and development of the assistant accountant
