Job Description

Our client, a market leading innovator and consumer favourite, that operates a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, is looking to source a technically strong, data driven Finance Manager to join its talented team.

This is a hugely visible role, responsible for reporting and accounting for billions of pounds worth of revenue and associated costs. You'll provide leadership, management and development to the team working within the area, setting standards and ensuring accuracy and insight.

Main duties:
* Maintain an understanding of the accuracy of the numbers to ensure confidence in the results
* Developing and improving monthly reporting
* Providing support on revenue accounting and reporting matters, assisting with the delivery of the systems transformation project
* Identifying and managing accounting, control and business risks in revenue related areas
* Establishing strong collaborative relationships in order to support internal customers
* Managing all queries from the business on the results and operations of the function
* Leading the annual audit process for areas of accountability

Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Confident with large sets of data and possesses excellent attention to detail
* Positive and creative approach to problem solving, creating an environment for continuous improvement
* Exceptional communication, can build relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Strong Excel and generally systems savvy
* Solid foundation in accounting, balance sheet etc. coupled with an analytical mind set
