Job Description

Our client, an outstanding UK business with a global presence are currently looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join their thriving finance function. This is a high profile finance role supporting one of the company's key divisions and will involve daily work with various departments across the business. The role will be to provide sound financial advice to the team and will involve preparation of new business proposals, budgets, forecasts and reporting of business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
-Providing value adding financial insight, support and challenge to the divison by building effective working relationships at all levels, including Senior Managers and with other departments in the business
-Lead the management accounts process (Revenue & Capex), analysis and commentary, presenting to Head of Finance, and senior management team,
-Lead the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast process for the business
-Reviewing resourcing proposals from other business areas and provide healthy challenge; understand key drivers for revenue and costs; ensure matrix management is working as effectively and efficiently as possible.
-Business partnering the finance team, working closely with the team to ensure efficient and accurate responses to analysis and questions, while maintaining a good working relationship
-Work closely and build a very good relationships across the business, providing value adding insight and financial advice into management discussions
-Maintain and enhance financial controls ensuring accuracy and robustness of reporting and continue to develop reporting for this business area
-Lead financial support for the bidding to implementation process - review contract terms to determine the revenue and costs recognition are sound; undertake client profitability reviews when required; ensure client support via any due diligence process
-Continually identify and implement improvements to business processes to increase efficiency and ensure all costs are recorded accurately in the accounts. Challenge and review results to seek opportunities to increase income/reduce costs and risks
-Manage a small team of finance analysts, ensuring the team is being developed and work quality is of a high standard
