Job Description

Our client, one of the fastest growing FTSE listed organisations in recent years, with exciting strategy in place to further expand its market share and innovative customer offering, is looking to source a top calibre Finance Manager to lead a team of 3 Qualified Accountants and act as a key business to part of the Senior Management Team. The role has come about as a result of internal promotion, which is very reflective of this employers track record and ability to progress talent from within.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Technology division, challenging stakeholders and existing ways of working where necessary to make significant improvements to process. You will provide value adding analysis, KPIs to capture performance, budgeting and forecasting for Senior Management, to aid, shape and influence decision making across the department.

Main duties include:
* Lead and mentor a team of 3 Accountants and a Graduate
* Develop processes to support the analysis of financial information on the outputs of divisions for multiple customers
* Partner with Management Team to improve efficiency of underlying business processes
* Produce and review periodic KPIs which give insight into business performance
* Produce and lead the preparation of annual budget and forecasts
* Develop a rolling 12 month forecast model
* Produce period management accounts, analysis and commentary
* Drive improved business insight by developing cost of ownership analysis
* Evaluate the potential of new capital and revenue related projects

Key Skills & Experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Strong academic record
* Strong commercial understanding of the business and awareness for key drivers
* A well-organized self-starter able to communicate professionally at all levels, with a good understanding of the business processes involved in an international business and a natural instinct to drive continuous improvement
* Enjoys working in a team within a dynamic environment where priorities are changing constantly and pragmatism is key
* Uses logic to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis, looks beyond the obvious
