Job Description
Main duties include:
* Providing value adding financial insight, support and challenge by building effective working relationships at all levels
* Supporting stakeholders and senior management with financial analysis to aid decision making
* Identifying trends to project the full year including recommendations on opportunities/mitigating risks
* Leading the annual budget and quarterly forecast process, reviewing cost proposals from other business areas and provide healthy challenge
* Maintaining and enhancing financial controls
* Managing a finance analyst, ensuring team is developed and supported
Skills & experience required:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum 3 years PQE
* Experience of period management accounts, analysis and commentary with a wider analytical/business partnering role
* Advanced Excel
* Excellent communication skills as the role required interaction across all operational functions
* Logical, self-motivated, proactive approach, confident in challenging business partners utilising a measured and credible character
* Ambitious and keen to deliver at the highest standard
