Vitae are working with a household brand in South West London seeking an experienced French speaking Accounts Assistant.
The successful applicant will be motivated by working in a fast paced environment, competent and able to self manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inputting and recording of all sales Invoices and purchase invoices for the ledger
- Raising sales & purchase orders
- Ensuring all bank transactions are recorded and reconciled
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns, calculations of other tax returns and intrastate declarations
- Interface with the French management team, and other departments including sales and project management
- Main point of contact for French accountants, auditors and legal advisors
- Organise and assist with year-end audits and processes
- Payment of suppliers & employee expenses
- Debt collection
- Dealing with all queries regarding customers/suppliers/bank
The successful candidate will be:
- Fluent in French as well as English (both written and spoken)
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience within Accounting or Finance
- Ideally be AAT qualified
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and word
- Good attention to detail and high accuracy skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A dynamic personality and a team player
