Job Description

Our client, a well-established, high- growth organisation with an impressive international footprint, is looking to source a bright and proactive Finance Assistant to join on an initial contract basis. This business has a great track record of retaining talent where they can, so there could be a promising permanent opportunity available in future.

Main duties include:
* Processing invoices
* Preparing client billing schedules for approval
* Maintaining purchase order system
* Preparing payment runs for sign off
* Reconciling bank accounts
* Liaising with management accounting team to ensure outstanding billing is kept to a minimum
* Liaising with contractors and clients for timesheet approval and invoicing
* General admin including petty cash monitoring, handling post etc.

Key skills & experience required:
* At least 6 months experience in a finance related role
* Strong organization and attention to detail
* Can prioritise whilst working to deadlines
* Intermediate Excel
* Confident communicator
* Demonstrates clear initiative
* Positive and proactive when approaching tasks
