Finance Assistant - Tring
£18,000 - £22,000 per annum plus Bonus plus Excellent Benefits

Our client is a dynamic and impressive entity looking for an ambitious Finance Assistant to join their growing team.

Key Duties
- Contact customers and clients via phone, email, chasing payments for overdue invoices
- Issue reminder letters and statements on a monthly basis as and when required
- Deal with queries in a professional and timely manner
- Produce monthly aged debtors lists
- Monitoring of credit limits
- Produce recurring auto-invoices on a monthly basis
- Produce and process sales invoices where required
- Daily posting of bank transactions
- Process and reconciliation of accounts payable transactions
- Bank reconciliations
- Process and post purchase invoices received in the business
- Compile payment runs for approval and use online banking system to generate payments
- Ad hoc report and analysis

- Ensure all daily/weekly Bank Reconciliations are completed (Cash/Credit Card)
- Deal with various Banks and Currencies, maintain banking relationships
- Report and manage all aspects of cash shrinkage
- Monthly reconciliation of clearing accounts
- Investigate cash discrepancies
- Review Reconciliations with Management each month to explain any variances
- Process company Travel and Expense claims each week and ensure VAT is calculate correctly
- Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and internal procedures are followed
- Post journals for period end deadlines
- Analyse spend and cost on various services
- Various ad-hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will have experience doing a similar role and be a problem solver.
You will be a competent user of Excel and be able to use your initiative. Excellent communication skills at all levels is essential.
