Job Description
The successful candidate will partner the commercial team to create tenders for new and existing business, working cross-functionally with operation and procurement to ensure profitable and sustainable growth. You will also ensure robust financial control regarding month end reporting/forecasting and marketing spend.
Main duties include:
* Acting as first point of contact for Commercial Managers, supporting on new opportunities
* Gathering all the information for new and existing business, plus ensuring all inputs have been robustly assessed
* Working with Commercial Managers to provide insight and challenge across all tenders
* Managing and developing excel tender models
* Owning and managing trackers of new and existing business
* Providing continuous insight on pricing and costs
* Reviewing sales forecast and supporting quarterly forecasting process, budgeting and long term planning
* Preparing monthly analysis and reporting
* Month end and ad hoc reporting as required
Key skills & experience required:
* Part-Qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA
* Proven track record in a similar business partnering role
* Exceptional P&L knowledge, can take full ownership of the numbers
* Advanced Excel
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to work
* FMCG/Retail experience would be advantageous
