Job Description

Finance Assistant
£10 - £13 per hour
Temp to Perm

Our client, a prominent organisation in their chosen sector are looking to recruit a proactive finance up and comer for a challenging role reporting to the Finance Manager at their offices in Hertfordshire. A conscientious individual with a customer focused approach would be well place to apply.

Main responsibilities include:

*Leading the administration of the organisation's financial systems
*Working with systems which manage spend controls, currencies, projects, VAT accounts and more
*Maintaining the expense system for local and international staff
*Assisting with VAT Returns, yearend processes, cash postings and other requirements within corporate finance
*Establishing best practices for financial systems in use
*Assistance with maintenance of query reports
*Ad-hoc duties

Ideal candidates should be well versed with IT and have the intuitiveness when operating new systems. Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with Excel is required. An articulate individual with good organisational skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders would have the foundations required for success in this role.
