Job Description

Vitae are now working exclusively with a local employer of choice in Watford to source a top-calibre Credit Control Team Leader to join their team. This role will involve managing a team of credit controllers and would suit a driven, personable team leader with proven experience in developing a team.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing the Credit Control team
- Manage both the credit risk on company receivables and supplier credit for company
liabilities
- Minimise the working capital requirement for Accounts Receivables
- Manage the customer ledger by ensuring accurate records are maintained for each
customer
- Monitor and review customer credit limits
- Credit check new customers
- Manage the collection of overdue invoices
- Manage the supplier ledger
- Oversee the processing of business expense forms
- Forecasting of AR month end balances
- Ensure AR reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
- Update current processes and procedures to improve efficiency where necessary

The business are currently going through an exciting period of growth and they will be looking to source an experienced credit control team leader capable of driving the department forward. This will be a fast-paced role so experience in a fast-paced, high-volume team will be essential. Advanced Excel skills will also be very important.
