Job Description

Our client, a global market innovator and local employer of choice, with a fantastic reputation for professional development and reward, is looking to source a top calibre Commercial Finance Manager to join its talented team.

You'll be working in this fast-paced department, using insight to drive improves performance across Europe. This is a pivotal role, partnering with Operations to deliver results and enable future expansion.

Role summary:
* Develop an annual E-commerce budget, partnering with various cost line owners and other finance teams
* Provide periodic forecasts based on business performance - both for sales and overall P&L
* Lead on delivering 3/5/10 years plan for the overall E-commerce business through working with various business partners
* Understand key sales drivers and use the knowledge to challenge business partners in driving the business forward
* Support the financial accounts team in delivering the month-end/year-end close process. Critically reviewing and challenging financials post month-end to understand any upcoming risks/opportunities
* Responsible for overall daily/weekly/monthly reporting
* Ownership of sales forecasting, including various online metrics
* Prepare a monthly review pack to Senior Management, reflecting performance vs Budget / LY and the relevant variance analysis and insights on sales and operational drivers - with a view on actions required to address key issues/risks
* Supports strategic initiatives through financial modelling and scenario analysis and reviews, critiques and brings financial rigour to such business cases / strategic initiatives
* Partner with other finance teams on IT and Margin costs; challenge performance and understand trends to highlight risk and opportunities for the overall P&L
* Manage three direct reports, provide support for their development and ensure exposure across the business
* Work with E-commerce Senior Finance Manager to create and foster a pipeline of talent
* Understand flow and ensure relevant business partners are challenged on KPIs and inventory build-up

* Strong relationship building skills and ability to deliver results as part of a team
* Inquisitive mindset, interested in explaining drivers behind numbers
* Track record of delivering to strict deadlines
