Job Description

Our client, a local employer of choice with a reputation for quality and customer loyalty, is looking to source a top calibre Commercial Finance Analyst on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for supporting a high-growth business unit, as it continues to gain impressive market share, ensuring sound decision making in line with company-wide strategy.

The role could suit a range of profiles, either a proven Commercial Analyst with a wealth of relevant experience, or a strong Finance Analyst with strong academics and a clear aptitude for performing to a high standard in a fast-paced environment. The client are also open to 4 days a week/reduced hours, to accommodate those that need a flexible schedule to work around home/lifestyle preferences.

Main duties include:
* Business partnering with Brand Managers to provide insight and challenge across all tenders, ensuring new and existing business has been accurately assesses
* Manage and develop excel tender models
* Coach and support business partners in systems use and key financial metrics
* Own and manage trackers of new and existing business, ensuring it aligns to pricing and margins
* Provide insight on pricing and costs and conduct full quarterly business review
* Reviewing sales forecast and own budgeting and long term planning
* Month end and ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

The successful candidate may demonstrate strong professional experience, or exceptional academics with a naturally analytical mind-set. You must be a capable business partner, with a clear ability in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as influencing decision making and challenging the status quo where necessary.

Candidates should also demonstrate a proactive and positive approach towards work, utilising your initiative to come up with creative solutions to potentially complex problems.
