Job Description

Our client, a growing business with nationwide exposure are looking to source an experienced bookkeeper to join their dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
-Purchase ledger duties - getting authorisation, checking and coding supplier invoices. Authorising employee expenses and adding purchase orders
-Bank, credit card, Worldpay & PayPal reconciliation
-Transferring of Sales and Purchase invoices from the company bespoke system to Xero
-Sales ledger reconciliation and control
-Download and check various venue billing reports to ensure cost control
-Daily operational reports to aid monthly KPIs reports production
-Performing reconciliations between the company bespoke system and the accounting system to identify any discrepancies
-Management accounts journals (Accruals/Prepayments/depreciation etc.)
-Balance Sheet Reconciliations
-Production of management accounts
-Assisting the Office Manager with payroll and pensions when required
-Annual Accounts preparation and liaison with external accountants
-Checking and filing VAT Returns
-Deal with any HMRC matters
-Preparation of any ad hoc reports for external/internal purposes
