Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-To ensure that financial information relating to all restaurants is correctly accounted for and reported in a timely manner.
-Maintain balance sheet control to ensure predictable financial reporting.
-Input invoices, process journals, post accruals & pre-payments and maintain the Fixed assets register
-To ensure the completeness and integrity of financial data is maintained at high standards.
-Perform periodic Balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany accounts and bank accounts.
-Maintain the purchase ledger, reconcile balances to supplier statements and make payments to suppliers according to payment terms.
-Production of monthly management accounts for review by the Senior Management Accountant.
-Assist with the year-end audit.
-Strong and trusting relationships established with all stakeholders.
-Ensure that periodic management accounts are produced in line with the strict month end timetable.
-Responsible for balance sheet control, including 100% compliance of balance sheet reconciliations on a periodic basis.
-Build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders including Restaurant Managers, Area Coaches and other members of the finance team.
-Ensure all queries and information required by the Management, Restaurants and the Area team is provided in a timely and professional manner.
This is a hands-on role that will require a broad finance background and at least 2-3 years' experience working in a fast-paced finance team. The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant looking to further their career in a business that can offer an excellent progression programme.
Excellent communication skills will be essential as a large part of this role will involve building meaningful relationships with team members both internally and externally.
