Job Description

Our client, a global market leader in its specialist field, known for its innovative approach and a friendly, supportive working environment, is looking to source a credible and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join on an initial 12 month contract. The role will be responsible for sales ledger and cash, administering the company credit card programme and assisting the finance team in the production of monthly accounts.

Main duties include:
* Reconciling bank statements, posting all direct debits and inter account transfers
* Populating daily bank analysis spreadsheet for Directors
* Maintaining rolling 13 week cashflow forecast
* Performing monthly bank reconciliations
* Producing weekly debtors report with commentary
* Overseeing the cash collection of debtors
* Performing month end close for sales ledger
* Invoice recharges
* Reconciling intercompany accounts
* Ad hoc projects

Key skills & experience required:
* Solid experience in a relevant finance role
* Highly confident performing reconciliations
* Competent Excel knowledge, intermediate and above
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Credible and clear communication, can build relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Excellent work ethic and commitment to maintaining the highest standard of work
* Positive and proactive approach to problem solving
