Circa £65,000 - £75,000 (Depending on experience) + Bonus
We're looking for a Finance Manager who enjoys getting into the detail of management accounts while leading and developing others. This is a great role for someone who wants to make their mark - improving processes, mentoring a small team, and helping shape how finance supports the wider business.
The role
You'll be responsible for producing accurate, timely management information and turning numbers into meaningful insight. Working closely with colleagues across finance and operations, you'll ensure month-end runs smoothly, help automate routine tasks, and strengthen financial controls.
Your work will directly support key business decisions, so curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to challenge the status quo will all be valued here.
What you'll do
* Lead the monthly management accounts process, including journals, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Provide clear, insightful financial commentary to help leaders understand performance and drive improvements.
* Support and guide junior team members, helping them grow their confidence and technical capability.
* Identify and implement ways to streamline and automate reporting and financial processes.
* Maintain robust financial controls and support audit and compliance activity.
* Collaborate with finance business partners and other teams to deliver accurate and useful reporting.
What we're looking for
* Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Previous experience within a large corporate or group finance team
* Proven experience in coaching or developing others - you enjoy seeing your team progress.
* Confident handling all aspects of month-end and financial analysis.
* Comfortable improving or automating processes to make finance work smarter.
* A clear communicator who can translate financial results for non-finance audiences.
* Proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow - there is plenty of opportunity for someone with potential who is ready for the next step.
