Systems & Reconciliations Manager, Watford, Hertfordshire
£50- £55kpa plus great benefits including a car allowance, bonus- 10%, Medical and Pension

Our client, an evolving brand with an exciting future have created a new role due to a period of sustained growth and a number of exciting projects planned. Reporting to the Reconciliations Manager, this is a unique opportunity for a qualified accountant. The role will be a varied and all-encompassing finance position with progression opportunities. The role will cover a variety of financial control reconciliations across complex systems, period-end reporting, statutory accounts and supporting with multiple process and controls enhancements.

Key Duties:-
* Participating in the timely, accurate and compliant delivery of the P&L and Balance Sheet on a monthly basis.
* Ensuring a clear audit trail between the Management systems and the general ledger (SAP).
* Preparation and input of monthly journals (cash collections, systems reconciliations).
* Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Assisting in enforcing the financial governance and controls in the business, ensuring that they are formally monitored, and exceptions are reported, that internal controls are robust and that processes are developed accordingly.
* Development and testing of all Accounting postings stemming from new Product development.

Key experience needed:
* Technically minded with a strong knowledge of accounting principles, including VAT, and ability to resolve accounting issues.
* Experience of a group reporting environment.
* Proven reconciliation skills and ability to work with complex ledgers - SAP experience would be beneficial.
* Confident in extracting, manipulating and reporting data from several complex systems.
* Ability to communicate well with all stakeholders internal & external.
* Proactive, flexible, and capable of working to tight deadlines under pressure.
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Advanced Excel - preferably VBA and Power Query.
