Our client, a brand of choice in the local area are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk to join the business on a permanent basis. The brand enjoy a healthy work life balance and have a very high employee retention rate. This role sits within Financial Control and is responsible for the complete Purchase Ledger process ranging from ensuring Purchase Orders are in place, ensuring checks are made so that all Purchase Ledger transactions are recorded, payments are made accurately, and the company complies with tax regulations.

Key Duties:-
* Handling all Accounts Payable operations
* Processing of all Purchase Order Management activity
* Accurately matching and settling Supplier invoices via bi-weekly Payment Runs, obtaining appropriate authorisation
* Actively seeking query resolution as they arise
* Ensuring internal procedures around Supplier Management/Onboarding are strictly adhered to
* Completion of any related monthly reconciliation ensuring any balances are fully substantiated
* Assisting with ad-hoc invoicing

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of the above and be available at short notice, 1-2 weeks maximum. This could also be a temporary to permanent role.
