Job Description
Reporting to a Senior Manager, the role will focus on lease accounting for the business, responsible for the production of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the audit process. Candidates must be available to start immediately.
Main duties include:
* Supporting the financial control team and monthly close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and closing legal entity books
* Processing all monthly changes to leases
* Owning all lease related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
* Developing strong cross functional relationships with FP&A, legal and global accounting teams
* Assisting in maintaining and improving internal controls and processes
* Supporting the wider team with ongoing projects
Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified
* Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience in a large company or accounting firm
* Experience with lease accounting
* Strong Excel
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated
* Ability to multi task and be flexible regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines
* Ability to perform critical analysis and thinking, prioritize and problem solve
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
