Payroll Manager
Watford, Hertfordshire
Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months
£60,000 - £70,000 DOE

We are looking for an Interim Payroll Project Manager who will significantly increase the overall efficiency of the businesses current processes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and support the Group Payroll Manager in the integration of the new Payroll System.

Applicants must be able to demonstrated the ability to effectively juggle the responsibilities linked with managing multiple projects at the same time. Build relationships with the stakeholders involved in the project - helping to take them on the journey - keeping them informed.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:
* Experience of successfully processing a monthly and weekly/biweekly payroll run for a similar sized organisation.
* Demonstrable project management experience.
* Close attention to detail when reviewing all pay related data.
* Ability to produce, analyse and summarise pay related data for reporting and ad-hoc requests.
* Strong knowledge on payroll legislation.
* Ability to work constructively and effectively with external suppliers.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Investigate and learn current payroll process and identify how this will be impacted by the proposed changes.
* Work closely with strategic leads and create project plans that outline the activity required to deliver the stated projects.
* Run shadow payroll runs in preparation for the launch.
* Delivered the projects in line with the set deadlines.
