Job Description
Supporting a Finance Manager, the successful candidate with provide the business with vital management and financial reporting. They will partner with stakeholders across the business to produce accurate and timely accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and support the year end audit process.
Main duties include:
* Performing first level production and review of the management accounts with Finance Manager to identify risks
* Producing and reviewing monthly aged creditor and debtor reports
* Producing budgeting and forecasting
* Producing sales reporting with variance analysis and commentary
* Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting cashflow forecasting
* Assisting in delivering analytical support, MI and transaction reports
* Assisting in weekly, monthly reporting and analysis
Key skills & experience required:
* Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
* Strong Excel (Lookups, pivot tables)
* Can demonstrate a solid foundation in management accounting
* Experience of delivering month end requirements and reporting within a strict timetable
* Strong organisational skills, applied a methodical approach with attention to detail
* Excellent communication, can build relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Proactive, self-starter, who can demonstrate initiative
* Listens, thinks creatively and proposes a variety of ways to respond to challenges
