Management Accountant, Guildford, Surrey
£50kpa plus 20% Bonus, Medical & Pension

Our client, who hold a brilliant brand name and are in a very buoyant sector, are looking to add to the team a Management Accountant. This role will be responsible for the day to day financial activities of a number of legal entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the finances from start to finish ensuring monthly management accounts are completed on time (including cash flows, prepayments, accruals, journal posting, reporting etc.). In addition, the management accountant is responsible for ensuring statutory accounts are prepared in a timely manner and ensuring compliance with IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 standards and assisting the team on technical matters.

Key Duties:-
* Preparation of monthly management accounts including all journal postings
* Preparation, management and delivery of cash flow forecasts
* Debtor management for entities
* Preparation of periodic financial reporting and variance to budget analysis for internal and external clients on a timely and accurate basis
* Preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
* Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit for companies in IFRS, FRS 102 or UK GAAP, including consolidated sets of accounts
* Assist with on boarding of new projects
* Supporting continuous improvements to accounting and reporting processes together with the wider Finance and ERP Development teams
* Supporting regular queries from the operational business
* Executing additional tasks to meet changing business needs and departmental objectives
