Management Accountant
Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
£50,000 - £60,000 + benefits

An exciting Management Accountant role has come up at a leading company who operate throughout the UK. This role would suit candidates who are highly experienced in management accounting, keen to enable key strategic and operational decisions in order to help the company progress. Job purpose:
- Helps management use financial information to inform business strategy
- Responsible for working with company management to provide advice.assistance in order to allow them make informed decisions
- Relays information from accounting department to management team

Job responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions for project/department/company
- Prepare financial statements as required (internal and external use)
- Reconcile spending with budget
- Analyse financial performance in order to accurately forecast for months/years ahead
- Identify ways in which costs can be reduced
- Maintain records to support auditing activities
- Advise company management on financial decisions
- Make strategy recommendations based on financial information

Candidate requirements:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Significant experience in a Management Accountant role
- Highly numerate, strong analytical skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and able to engage with all levels within an organisation
- Work across functions/departments
- Concise, accurate, attention to detail
- Excellent academic background
