Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation & Program Management
Functional Area: Operations Finance

Our client, a highly sought after employer of choice, has an exciting requirement for a top calibre senior finance professional to join on an interim basis, as Finance Transformation Project Manager reporting directly to the Head of Finance Transformation and Leading on a number of extremely high profile projects.

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with previous experience within a financial shared service environment, previous experience of project management and working with key stakeholders with experience of charts of accounts and understanding of process and risks, project plans, organisational change and cost analysis. The successful candidate will help lead the transformation and transition of local business process from country operations into multiple shared service locations within pre-established timelines & approved budget for a group of companies.

The Role
*The Project Manager is responsible for managing and supporting on allocated projects within the Finance Transformation & Project Management portfolio, including but not limited to system changes, process enhancements and transformations across the group.
*An important element of the role is coordinating different stakeholders within Business units in-country and across multiple regions and being able to liaise with key stakeholders and senior management in a way that promotes the Finance PMO team and promotes trust and understanding that deliverables can be successfully achieved.
*Responsible for ensuring that a given project meets the deliverables to stakeholders' requirements
*Timely and accurate reporting and documentation to be provide on projects of ownership
*Work with SME's and Stakeholders to engage them and support on roadmap to delivery
*Provide communication (via email, meetings etc) to stakeholders on a regular basis on detailed status of the project, including risks, highlights, concerns and plans for coming duration etc.
*Escalate any potential blockers to Head of Finance Transformation & Program Management
*Support the Head of Finance Transformation & Program Management on any overarching program deliverables as required
*Support on managing multiple project plans where required
*Preparing and leading meetings within a project


What we are looking for
*Ideally a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
*Previous experience within a Finance Shared Service environment
*Previous experience within a Project Management role with demonstrable successful management of projects
*Understanding of risks and controls within a project to minimize any potential impacts to the business
*Ability to draw together concepts from business requirements
*Proven results in supporting on successful projects
*Experience of preparing complex "as is" and "to be" workflows
*Previous experience of large notable accounting / ERP packages
*Strong Microsoft Excel and ideally Visio
*Engage stakeholders and build positive relationships Bonus Points
*Ideally worked on transformation projects
*Ideally experience of creating "cost vs benefit" analysis documents and associated documentation
