Head of Financial Reporting & Planning
Circa £90,000 + £8,000 Car Allowance + up to 50% Bonus + Health + Generous Package

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this global leader as part of the senior finance leadership team. The business, renowned for its progressive attitude to work-life balance and dynamic family friendly working practices is seeking a top calibre senior finance professional to lead and develop a high performing team.

*Act as a champion within the Senior Finance Leadership Team to promote well-being, development and career management.
*Operate and influence at senior levels within the organisation, working closely with the Finance Director and other members of the Group Finance and Board.
*The role will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and planning for all UK operating companies. This will range from the generation of monthly management accounts, the compilation of multi-year business plans and annual budgets and all statutory financial reporting
*Financial accounting, including the maintenance of all records within SAP with a particular focus upon the monthly reconciliation process
*Responsible for the deployment of the existing Financial Systems and significantly involved in financial transformation projects, playing a pivotal role in the design and subsequent implementation of a new financial systems.
*Oversee Accounts Payable and the Expenses system, ensuring they meet all KPIs including the Prompt Payment Code
*Make a difference, to continuously improve all aspects of financial reporting.
*You will be an experienced leader who can manage and develop a number of diverse teams.

We are interest in speaking with high calibre qualified senior finance professionals who meet the following criteria.

*Senior, qualified accountant (ideally ACA with audit experience) with proven experience in supporting and leading a large team.
*Ability to understand complex financial accounting policies and standards, with the soft skills to explain these to those with less technical financial understanding.
*Strong knowledge and experience of IFRS reporting in a senior role.
*A demonstrable aptitude for data analysis, enthusiasm for continuous improvements, and strong problem-solving skills.
*A background of working in large complex organisations.
*Prior responsibility for the overall financial control environment, including a full monthly reconciliation governance process.
*Experience of owning the relationship with your external auditors and the generation of consolidated, statutory financial accounts.
*The ability to achieve reporting and planning activities on time, with a "right first time" and "value added" mentality.
