£50k-£60k plus 10% Bonus, Private Healthcare, 5% Pension, Hybrid Working & Flexitime
Join our clients dynamic team as a Group Reporting Accountant where you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of their holding companies.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of holding companies' financials, including monthly result preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT returns.
* Provide detailed commentary on variances between actual and budgeted results, offering valuable insights.
* Support year-end statutory accounts and audit, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Assist in the annual budgeting process, contributing your expertise and analytical skills.
* Prepare monthly consolidation reports for our private equity house, facilitating informed decision-making.
* Respond to financial inquiries, leveraging your data interpretation skills to provide comprehensive responses.
* Mentor and develop staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
* Maintain the ERP system, ensuring the accuracy of the chart of accounts and financial periods.
* Perform ad-hoc tasks, such as cash forecasting, with meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements:
* Hold a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualification.
* Possess strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to delve deeper into data.
* Demonstrate commercial and business awareness, understanding the broader context of financial operations.
* Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excel in deadline-oriented environments, delivering high-quality results within time constraints.
Desirable:
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualifed.
* Have experience in multi-currency reporting and IFRS.
* Possess knowledge of consolidation processes.
* Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems would be advantageous.
