Job Description
As Group Reporting Accountant, you will oversee the reporting of the monthly consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. You will also take an active role in the business planning cycles, ensuring forecasts are robust.
Main duties include:
* Preparing the group consolidated monthly management accounts with insight to performance for distribution for the Board
* Oversee the Group consolidation processes and reconciliation of intercompany ledgers
* Liaising with the Group's external and internal auditors
* Preparing financial statements, and statutory accounts under IFRS
* Responsible for technical accounting excellence, including; business disposals and acquisitions
* Preparation of annual audit deliverables on P&L and Balance Sheet
* Supporting the planning cycles for central P&L
* Drive improvements in group reporting capabilities
Key skills and experience required:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Strong proven financial capability with strong technical accounting knowledge and experience gained from working for a top/mid tier-accounting practice or a group finance function
* Ability to deliver high quality and accurate output to deliver on key deadlines
* Attention to detail, driven and able to balance multiple priorities
* Strong interpersonal skills - conscientious, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic
