Job Description

Our client, a highly sought after employer of choice, known for its flexible and development-lead culture, is looking to source a dynamic FP&A Manager to join its talented team. This is a rare and highly visible opportunity, as you will be responsible for partnering the Commercial Finance Director on all strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting, overseeing the P&L to Trading Profit.

This exposure to the commercial finance function will be a huge advantage when applying to roles internally, which would be expected after the first 12 - 18 months in the business. You can also expect to have a generous amount of flexible working; with expectations to be in the office likely to stay around one day per week, maximum 2 during busier periods for meetings etc.

Main duties include:
* Leading the Group's planning cycles and communicating timetables for all planning activity
* Working collaboratively with brand, customer and operations finance to produce accurate high quality forecasts understanding the main drivers
* Preparing presentations to tell the high level story, robustly challenge and explain variances to base plan
* Preparing board papers to present forecasts, budget and 3 year plan
* Providing financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision making and target setting
* Managing the preparation, review and analysis of the group's consolidated monthly reporting to trading profit
* Providing clear reporting of key messages for Senior Leadership
* Detailed performance analysis and roll up to establish macro trends
* Consolidating and communicating margin impacts
* Building strong working relationships with Investor Relationships
* Ad hoc analysis and insight to support corporate and strategic objectives including scenario modelling and long term trend analysis
* Managing, developing and mentoring 1 direct report

Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Proven track record in a similar FP&A/Business Partnering capacity
* Ability to identify key trends and business drivers
* Self-motivated and able to balance multiple priorities
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders and cross functionally
* Ambitious and career orientated
* Demonstrates solid commercial awareness
* Confident leader and promotes a high performance culture
