Financial Accountant- Mergers & Acquisitions, London (Hybrid)
£50- £60kpa, plus benefits including bonus, medical & pension

Our client, one of the leading brands with an instantly recognisable brand name, with a strong presence throughout the globe, are looking to add a technically strong Accountant to the business. This role in particular focuses on the accounting, reporting, and control of acquisitions and disposals transactions.

Key Duties:-
- Supporting the accounting, reporting and controls processes for acquisitions and disposals.
- Ensuring a sustainable reporting process is embedded in acquired entities, including guiding and working with operating centres and countries to ensure that the transaction is correctly reflected in management and financial reporting.
- Supporting accurate, timely, consistent and fair presentation of acquisition and disposal measures in the group financial statements.
- Lead earnout reviews for the past acquisitions, reviewing forecasts against the business plan.
- Maintain businesses processes, guidelines resources (including M&A accounting online page and trainings) related to acquisitions and disposals.
- Participating in the preparation of quarterly results announcements and Annual Report and Accounts.
- Supporting on engagement & wellbeing agenda.
- Liaising with the external auditors.
- Working with advisors on new acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will be newly ACA qualified, coming directly out of Audit and looking for a role in industry. Those will demonstrable experience inline with the above and fully qualified (CIMA/ ACCA) will also be considered.
