Job Description
Key duties include:
* Develop and support the Commercial and Operational teams.
* Responsible for the timely and accurate review of monthly financial information.
* Assist the preparation and coordination of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycle. Review of reporting packs for submission to leadership teams.
* Review and challenge financial performance against forecasts and provide variance analysis
* Ensure compliance of Milestone's internal and UK FRS Accounting policies and processes
* Support the mobilisation of new contracts, the implementation of systems
* Identify and drive improvements in processes and systems to add value and seek efficiencies, identifying and mitigating risk
* Support for the timely review of sector of balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support the interim and year-end audit process
* Provide year end statutory information to Central Finance
The successful candidate will either be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or studying towards, and ideally with experience gleaned from the construction industry, although this is not essential.
You must have strong communication skills and be comfortable articulating yourself to a range of clients, who will need clear and concise advice and explanations. This role will act as a key interface between the organisation and its clients, so being confident, credible and professional is hugely important.
